Wow. That’s pretty surprising, in a call into question the integrity of the process sort of way…unless one considers me a distinguished scholar, then I have no problem with it. But most likely, I’m offended by it.

The whole question assumes that economists have ever known what the hell they are talking about. They don’t. End of story.
