There are only two articles in the latest issue of the new Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists: Vol. 2, No. 3, September 2015. Assuming that you actually want articles to appear in the journal, this could mean one of three things:

  1. Too few high quality submissions
  2. The editors and referees are imposing standards that are too high
  3. Some combination of 1 and 2

Whatever is going on, it seems like a good time to submit a paper to JAERE, relative to JEEM.

I assumed a misfire and that it’s not the complete TOC. But I do hear that JAERE is turning things around fast, so that’s another reason to submit there.
