On Saturday I volunteered at the Blood Sweat and Gears rest stop #1. It was at the Grandview Overlook (MP 285) on the Blue Ridge Parkway, 25 miles worth of the 100 mile ride. Later that day we went for a "grueling" 18 mile ride.
