(With advance apologies for a rant.)

I was looking at some NCAA FBS football data last night and … has anyone noticed that SUNY-Buffalo changed their name to University at Buffalo? Why didn't they just go with University@Buffalo? Very hip.

At? As if we could have located "University" anywhere we wanted but we chose to locate at Buffalo. The Buffalo City Council provided the highest incentives, tax breaks, etc., and we had to say no to a lot of fine locations. However, we are always looking for a better deal and, if we move, imagine your town in the blank: Unversity at ____________!!!

I prefer SUNY-Buffalo or University of Buffalo.

While I was at UNCW the Chancellor changed the name from UNC – Wilmington (or UNC at Wilmgton) to UNC Wilmington. Wow. Head rush as those SAT scores increase at an increasing rate.
